Description
Hundreds of Buddhists pray at the Night Candle Festival on Quan Am Bodhisattva Buddha Day, a respectful ritual to pray for peace and health of mankind in Dien Quang Pagoda, Bac Ninh Province, Vietnam. When photographing events I often go first and leave last, trying to find new and different angles. This picture is an example of that. There were over 30 photographers attending, but I was the only one to get this unique photo at the last moment of the festival, after all the other photographers left.
